You are already on the map: claim your listing

By M. Moes · Published on 22 October 2026

If you run a restaurant, attraction or shop, your business is probably already on NearPin. Accommodations near you show their guests what there is to do in the area, and your business may be part of that. You claim your listing for free and then update your details yourself.

Why your listing matters

Guests at a hotel, campsite or holiday park often search on their phone for somewhere to eat or something to do. If your business is on the map of their accommodation, they find you. If your phone number or opening hours are wrong, a guest may end up at a closed door.

How to claim your listing

  1. Go to the claim page and search for your business by name.
  2. Choose your listing from the results.
  3. Confirm that the business is yours. You do that with a check through your website or email address.
  4. Update your details.

What can you change?

You update your own phone number, website and opening hours. That keeps the information on your business current, even if you move or change your hours.

Is your business missing?

NearPin takes places from public map data. If your business is not there, it may not be in that data yet or may be listed under another name. Try searching by town, or contact us.

Claiming costs nothing and takes a few minutes. Start on the claim page.

How does NearPin know it is my business?
You confirm ownership with a check, for example through your website or email address. That way nobody else can take over your listing.
Widget & product

What is NearPin? A surroundings map for your site

NearPin is a widget you place on your own website. Guests see at a glance where to eat, what to do and what to visit nearby, without leaving your site.

Tips for accommodations

What is there to do nearby? Guests ask first

Guests almost always ask at check-in what there is to do nearby. If your website answers that, you have to repeat it less often at the front desk.
