Who it’s for

Built for hotels, campsites and holiday parks

Wherever guests stay the night or spend the day, the same question comes up: what is there to do around here? NearPin answers it on your own website, so the front desk doesn’t have to and your guest doesn’t have to search.

Who it’s for

Hotels

Your guest asks at check-in where to eat, and the desk names the same three places every time. With NearPin they see for themselves what is nearby, even when reception is busy or already closed. And anyone still deciding sees what a stay with you offers beyond the room.

Campsites

From the beach and the supermarket to a cycling route and a cash machine: campsite guests mostly look for practical things, and often outside reception hours. The map sits on your site and on the QR code at the barrier or in the sanitary block.

Holiday parks

Beyond the pool and the snack bar on the park itself, guests want to know what the region has to offer, certainly on a week-long stay. A full picture of the surroundings makes the stay better and the choice for your park easier.

B&Bs

A B&B is small and personal, which is exactly why telling every guest separately where to go eats your time. With the map on your site guests work it out themselves, and you keep your attention for breakfast and the conversation at the table.

Wedding venues

The couple and their guests travel in from elsewhere and don’t know the area: where to stay, where the photographer can go, where to find coffee the next morning. With the surroundings next to your offer, the couple doesn’t have to work that out.

Holiday homes and chalets

At a holiday home or chalet there is no reception to ask: everything has to be clear up front. The map on your website, and behind the QR code inside the house, takes that role: from the supermarket to bike hire.

What NearPin delivers per location

More inspiration before booking

A visitor choosing between two places looks at more than the room. Show that there is a good restaurant ten minutes away, woods to walk in and a museum for a rainy day. The surroundings become part of what you offer.

Fewer repeat questions about the area

Where can we eat, where is a cash machine, what do we do with the children when it rains? Those questions come back every day. With the answers on your site and on the QR code, the desk keeps time for guests who really need help.

A better website experience

The information about the area sits on your own website, next to your own offer, instead of on a general map service that also lists your neighbours. So you don’t send visitors away at the moment they are about to book.

And beyond that it works the same

Spas, conference centres, theatres, marinas, attractions: wherever the surroundings are part of the experience, the same applies. Always one widget per site though. A location two villages away simply has different surroundings, and you only pay for the widgets you activate.

Frequently asked questions from venues

Is NearPin only for hotels?
No. Hotels are an important starting point, but NearPin works just as well for B&Bs, campsites, holiday parks, wedding venues, spas, theatres and anywhere else that wants to show off its surroundings.
Will the widget work on my website?
Yes. NearPin is built as an embeddable widget and runs with one line of code on most kinds of websites, including WordPress and custom builds. You don’t have to switch systems.
Does my team have to enter all the places?
No. NearPin fills the area around your address by itself, checks whether places still exist and keeps them current. You only choose which categories your guests get to see.
Do I need several widgets for several sites?
Yes, one widget per site. The surroundings of your location simply are not the surroundings of a site in another town. You create them under the same account and pay per activated widget.
What if there is not much to do around me?
Even a quiet area usually has more than guests expect: a walking route, a village bakery, a viewpoint. With a radius of up to 15 kilometres something always turns up. Ask for a demo on your own address and see for yourself.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Your first widget starts with a free 14-day trial, live and complete. You only pay once you activate it afterwards. A further widget is not free: it goes live from the day you activate it. You can preview it beforehand with Test my widget.
